This policy explains what personal data Viksit Analyst collects when you use this website and subscribe to the platform, why it's collected, how it's stored, and the rights you have over it.

01Information We Collect

We collect only the information reasonably necessary to operate a subscription-based quantitative trading platform, verify identity for compliance purposes, process payments, and deliver the service you've subscribed to.

Information you provide directly

  • Contact details — full name, email address, and phone number, collected when you subscribe, contact support, or fill out a form on this website.
  • Account and onboarding details — information submitted during subscription setup, including the strategy or plan selected and any details required to link a supported broker account.
  • Correspondence — the content of any message you send us through the contact form, email, or support channels, along with metadata such as the date and time it was sent.

Information collected automatically

  • Payment and transaction data — processed by our payment partner, Razorpay, as described in Section 5.
  • Technical data — browser type, device type, approximate location derived from IP address, referring URL, and pages visited, collected through standard web server logs and analytics tools.
  • Usage data — how you interact with the website, such as which sections you view or which strategy details you open, used to improve the site's content and structure.

We do not collect broker login credentials, trading passwords, or two-factor authentication codes through this website. Broker connectivity, where applicable, is established through the broker's own authorized authentication flow (such as Upstox's OAuth-based connection), not by us storing your broker password.

02How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  1. Create and manage your subscription and customer record;
  2. Process payments and recurring billing through Razorpay;
  3. Verify subscription status before enabling automated execution for your account;
  4. Generate and deliver daily execution reports and platform notifications by email;
  5. Respond to support requests and contact form submissions;
  6. Maintain records required for accounting, audit, and regulatory compliance under Indian law;
  7. Monitor, secure, and improve the reliability of the website and platform infrastructure;
  8. Communicate material updates to strategies, pricing, or policies.

We do not use your personal data to profile you for third-party advertising, and we do not sell personal data to any third party.

04Analytics

We may use privacy-conscious analytics tools to understand aggregate traffic patterns — such as which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and general geographic region. This data is used in aggregate and is not used to individually identify you as a person for marketing purposes. Where analytics providers act as data processors on our behalf, they are contractually restricted from using the data for their own independent purposes.

05Payment Information & Razorpay

All payments on this website — including the one-time onboarding fee and recurring monthly subscription — are processed through Razorpay Software Private Limited, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway licensed to operate in India.

We do not receive, process, or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials at any point. That information is entered directly into Razorpay's secure checkout and handled entirely on Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.

What we do receive and store from each transaction is limited to: the payment amount, currency, payment status, a Razorpay-generated payment and order identifier, the payment method category (for example, card, UPI, or net banking), and the timestamp of the transaction. This information is used to reconcile subscriptions, issue receipts, and respond to billing queries.

Recurring monthly billing is set up as an authorized subscription mandate through Razorpay at the time you subscribe. You can review Razorpay's own privacy practices at razorpay.com/privacy.

06Google Workspace & Google Apps Script

Viksit Analyst's backend operations — including customer records, subscription status tracking, execution logging, and automated email delivery — run on Google Workspace, using Google Sheets as a structured data store and Google Apps Script as the automation layer that connects payment events, subscription records, and report delivery.

Data held within this environment includes your name, email, phone number, subscription and plan status, and payment references described in Section 5 above. Access to this environment is restricted to authorized personnel operating Viksit Analyst, and is protected by Google Workspace's account-level security controls, including two-factor authentication.

Google acts as our data processor for this infrastructure and processes data under its own enterprise-grade security and compliance commitments as a sub-processor. Google does not use this data for its own advertising purposes.

07Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We disclose personal data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf and under our instructions — currently Razorpay (payments) and Google Workspace (infrastructure and email delivery) — strictly for the purposes described in this policy.
  • Broker integrations you explicitly authorize, such as connecting your Upstox account, where information flows directly between you and the broker through the broker's own authenticated connection.
  • Legal and regulatory requirements, where disclosure is required to comply with applicable Indian law, a court order, or a lawful request from a government or regulatory authority.
  • Business transfers, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the receiving party honoring the commitments in this policy.

08Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to satisfy accounting, tax, and audit obligations under Indian law — typically up to eight years for financial transaction records, consistent with statutory record-keeping requirements. Contact form submissions and support correspondence are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the matter and maintain a service record, after which they are periodically purged.

09Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) across the website and checkout flow, restricted and audited access to backend systems, and reliance on payment and infrastructure providers that maintain independent, industry-recognized security certifications. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data using controls consistent with current industry practice.

10Your Rights

Subject to applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 where it applies, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal and regulatory retention obligations;
  • Withdraw previously given consent for a specific processing purpose, where consent is the basis for that processing;
  • Raise a grievance regarding how your data has been handled.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe, and in any case within the period required by applicable law.

11Children's Privacy

Viksit Analyst is intended for use by individuals who are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding financial subscription. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

12Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or the platform itself. The "Effective" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be communicated by posting an updated version here, and where appropriate, by email to active subscribers.
